What Tracta does
Tracta is document control for the construction industry. Drawings, revisions and transmittals, from upload through to acknowledged receipt. Built for commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
Tracta reads the title block, names the file and updates the register. Nobody retypes a register. The current issued revision is flagged. A superseded drawing reads as superseded.
Drawings, transmittals and receipts sit in one record. The audit trail shows who issued what, and when. Contractors, consultants and subcontractors work from the same current issued revision.

The Tracta story
Which revision did you build from?
As a Project Engineer and a Contract Administrator, I asked that question on every project I worked on. Buildings, major transport infrastructure, mining and industrial sites. Many times.
Sometimes nobody knew.
So we went back through the revisions to see which one matched what had been built.
The drawings were never the problem. They existed. What didn't exist was the record: who reviewed each one, what changed between revisions, what was issued, to whom, and when. It had never been kept properly.
So we reconstructed it. And a reconstruction is a guess with a confident voice.
I got tired of reconstructing. So I built Tracta. It keeps the record as the work happens, so the answer is never a guess.
