You upload a set of drawings, confirm what Tracta read from the title blocks, and send your first transmittal. There is nothing to install and no register to build first.

No. Tracta is built for teams where project engineers and contract administrators run document control alongside their job. The register is built from the title blocks, so nobody retypes it.

For issuing drawings, yes. You send a transmittal from the register instead of attaching files to an email, and the record is kept with it. Recipients still get an email notification with a link.

PDF drawings are read automatically, up to 50 files at a time. DWG files open in the viewer and IFC models open in the 3D viewer. Tracta doesn't read title blocks from DWG or IFC files.

No. Tracta builds the register from your uploaded drawings, reading each title block. You can export a register to CSV.

It reads each uploaded PDF and fills in the document number, title, revision and discipline. You review every upload in Pending Review before it reaches the register, and anything it's unsure about is marked Review required.

Nothing reaches the register until you confirm it. You can discard any upload that looks wrong and send it again.

Each drawing has one current issued revision. Tracta matches each upload against the register and flags it as a new drawing, a new revision, a duplicate or a conflict for you to resolve. When a new revision is confirmed, the earlier one is marked superseded and stays linked behind it.

Yes. Overlay two revisions of a PDF drawing to see what was added and removed. You start the comparison yourself, it isn't automatic, and both pages need to be the same size.

They get an email invitation, accept it, and Tracta creates their account. They see only what has been sent to them. There are no public links.

Each recipient shows when it was sent, when they viewed the transmittal in Tracta, and when they acknowledged it, with timestamps. A view is recorded when a signed-in recipient opens the transmittal. Tracta doesn't track whether an email was opened.

The file on a revision that has been sent can't be replaced. Details such as a title or discipline can still be edited, and every change is logged with who made it and when.

Uploads, transmittals sent, views, acknowledgements, edits to fields, archiving and deleting, and revisions becoming current or superseded. Tracta provides no way to edit or delete entries. Comments are not part of the audit trail.

Admins and members see all documents in a project. Consultants and external members see only what they uploaded or what has been sent to them.

Ask Tracta answers questions about a project's drawings and transmittals and links to the document and page. It can make mistakes, so check the source it links before you rely on an answer.

Your documents and project data are stored in Australia, on AWS. Drawings are also processed in Australia to read title blocks and answer questions.

Yes. We use customer data to fine-tune Tracta's own model, which improves how it reads title blocks. You can ask us to turn this off for your organisation.

Pricing is covered in the demo. People you send to don't need a paid seat.

No. Tracta doesn't integrate with Procore, Aconex or email today. Everything arrives by upload, and you can export a register to CSV.

Yes, in the browser, with a phone layout. There is no native app and it doesn't work offline.
