Set a password for your Tracta account

Sign in with your email and a password, without waiting for an email code.

Set a password

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Profile. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left, then Settings, then Profile.
  2. Under Password sign-in, turn on the switch.

The Tracta sign-in screen asking for a password, with Forgot password? and Email me a code instead

After too many wrong tries, Tracta asks you to wait 10 minutes. You can still sign in with an email code.

Forgot your password?

  1. Select Forgot password? on the password screen.
  2. Check your Work email and select Send reset link.
  3. Open the reset link we email you. It works once, within ten minutes.
  4. Enter a New password and select Save password, then sign in with it.

Saving a new password signs you out on every device.

If the link has expired, select Send a new reset link.

Change or remove your password

Both are on your Profile, under Password sign-in.

To change it, select Change password, enter your Current password and a New password, then select Change password.

To remove it, turn off the switch and select Turn off. Your password is deleted, and you sign in with email codes.

Email codes still work

A password doesn't turn codes off. On the password screen, select Email me a code instead whenever you'd rather use one.
